13.87 per hour (50p additional per hour between the hours of 10pm and 6am)

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Batching Operatives to join the Grimsby Recipe Dish site which is the sole supplier of fresh and chilled ‘best in class’ soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose‑built site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and ‘no two days the same’ environment, making it a great place to work.

Main Responsibilities

• Batch the required weight of raw materials into totes ready for the next stage of the production process.
• Throughout the process, check the quality of the raw materials, ensure traceability is recorded at all stages, and follow allergen/non‑allergen procedures, reporting any issues to the Quality team.

Ideal Candidate

• Knowledge of computers and SAP is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Experience of stock control/management.
• Attention to detail is key.
• Experience in foreign body control through sorting of fresh and frozen materials.

Package Description

• Overtime at 1.33 after completion of rostered hours for the week.
• Additional 50p per hour between 10pm-6am.
