Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour

Type of Employment: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 2pm – 10pm, Monday – Friday

Location: McCormick (UK), 5 Forli Strada, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, PE7 3HH

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator license or certification
• Prior experience in waste management or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Current Counterbalance FLT license
• Good level of English communication skills
• Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Good time management skills to meet tight deadlines
• DBS check and drug/alcohol screening test required prior to starting

Responsibilities

• Join the Waste and Cleaning team to undertake the collection, movement, sorting, processing and dispatch of waste and other materials
• Compaction of waste and cardboard
• Work in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and PPE guidance
• Monitor equipment performance and support the On-Site Waste Coordinator in meeting site objectives
