HGV Driver

Location: Wandsworth, London, SW17 0LF

Salary: £44,647.20 per annum + excellent benefits

Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6am to 3.30pm.

Responsibilities

• Set off on a pre‑planned route as the driver, working with your team of loaders to collect waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• Serve as the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
• Perform vehicle safety checks before each round to ensure the truck is clean and work ready.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence & Driver CPC.
• Hard working.
• Physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the business.
• Have plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile.
• Be willing to go the extra mile while on rounds to help the team hit targets.
• Team player.
