Applicants must hold a current Class 1 C+E driving license and ideally have a minimum of 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused HGV driver to join our Class 1 team. Tasks and Responsibilities of the HGV Class 1 Driver includeMaking multi drop deliveries and assisting in the unloading of products and cages into stores.Collecting stock and delivering to site.Collection of empty pallets, steel and cardboard from stores and returning to the distribution centre.Completion of daily vehicle checks and maintaining working order of company vehicles and any equipment on-board. Reporting of any vehicle damage or faults.
Successful HGV Class 1 Drivers will have the followingFull and current Class 1 C+E driving licenseMust hold a DIGI tacho cardGood knowledge of driving laws and regulationsAble to communicate and clearly follow written and verbal instructions, able to lift and manoeuvre medium to heavy loads
