Morson Edge is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for one of our highly esteemed clients who have recently expanded to the Hoddesdon area. Position
Forklift Operator – performing various warehouse tasks including conducting pre‑shift checks, operating the forklift safely and efficiently, and documenting inventory movement. The role also involves collaboration with colleagues to meet daily production targets and maintain high‑quality standards. Note: the position may involve heavy lifting, picking, and packing.
Job Offer
Hourly rate: £13.62, 40 hours per week, Shift: 14:00‑22:00. Overtime paid at x1.25 or x1.50, depending on the day. Weekly pay. Free onsite parking. Complimentary drinks (coffee, tea, water). Immediate start available.
Job Training
Job training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic IT skills; use of computers
- Strong team player, comfortable working in a close‑knit team
- High level of proficiency in English communication
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑shift checks to ensure the forklift is in good working condition
- Safely and efficiently operate the forklift
- Ensure smooth goods flow within the warehouse
- Load and unload goods from vehicles and racks
- Accurately document inventory movement
- Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse space
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and maintain high‑quality standards
- May also involve heavy lifting, picking and packing
Job Requirements
- Valid Forklift Licence – Counterbalance & Reach or Pivot Steer
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills
