FLT Operative

The Best Connection is recruiting a reliable Yard Operative to work for our client in Heathfield on a temporary basis. An in-date Counterbalance FLT licence is essential for this position. This role is physically demanding and involves a lot of hands‑on work. Previous yard/manual handling experience is desirable. Immediate starts are available for the right candidate.

Pay Rates:

£13.00 – £14.00ph depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
• Manual handling, including loading and unloading
• General yard cleaning duties

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Proficient forklift skills
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Physically fit for repetitive tasks and prolonged standing

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:30
