About Us:

Located in the heart of South London, Lambeth Borough is a vibrant community of over 317,600 residents. Stretching from the dynamic neighbourhood of Streatham in the South to the iconic landmarks of Waterloo in the North, we are proud to be the 9th largest borough in London. Our diversity is our strength, with more than 130 languages spoken, making Lambeth the home of the Windrush generation, London’s largest LGBTQ+ community, and a thriving Portuguese-speaking community.

With exceptional schools, lush green spaces including Brockwell Park, cultural gems like the Black Cultural Archives, and world-renowned institutions such as St Thomas’s Hospital, Lambeth offers an enriching and dynamic environment.

The team’s primary goal is to improve outcomes for autistic children and young people across the Local Authority by delivering high-quality support, training, and strategic input. The culture is collaborative, inclusive, and solution-focused, with strong emphasis on partnership working between schools, families, and multi-agency professionals. It values continuous improvement, accountability, and neurodiversity-affirming practice.

There are strong opportunities for professional growth, including leading nationally recognised AET/NEN training programmes as a Licensed Partner, contributing to borough-wide strategy, engaging in continuous professional development (CPD), managing teams, and influencing policy and service development.

About the Role:

Provide expert advice, assessments, and statutory reports

Deliver training and guidance to schools, staff, and parents

Support inclusive practice through targeted interventions and strategies

Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and effective stakeholder communication

Promote neurodiversity-affirming practice and quality assurance across services
