Overview
Our customers are predominantly elderly and rely upon our office teams to take their orders over the phone or via the internet. The ultimate goal is to provide a service that exceeds expectations while continuously improving efficiencies.
The cold store runs at a chilly -20°C. Protective clothing will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary.
Reporting to the Driver Supervisor and Senior Freezer Operative, you will help pack customers’ frozen orders for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner.
£13.45 per hour + bonus + company benefits.
Responsibilities
- Ensure orders received later in the day are accurately picked and placed in the corresponding cage ready for the next morning.
- Pick orders ensuring zero mistakes.
- Improve efficiencies and implement them.
- Help the office team where appropriate.
- Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
- General duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive).
Essential Requirements
- Evidence of commitment and stability.
- Good attendance and timekeeping.
- Numerate and literate.
- Basic secondary education.

- Health & Safety training.

Employment Details
This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route as it does not meet the minimum requirements set out under the UK Immigration Rules.
