Role Summary: Become the founding pillar of Sprout.ai’s pre-sales and technical delivery as our first Solution Architect – a strategic role designed for a builder who wants to define the standard for Solution Architecture at Sprout as we scale. You’ll guide customers from initial technical discovery through successful deployment, establishing the entire architectural framework for our enterprise AI platform, and bridging the gap between GTM, Product, and Engineering to deploy cutting-edge LLM and automation technologies. This is a rare opportunity to own the technical narrative from pre-sales discovery to go-live, championing best practices and influencing product strategy in a high-growth environment where your impact will be immediate and visible.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales
- Partner with GTM teams & work directly with customers to understand customer pain points, assess requirements and craft compelling technical narratives.
- Translate business objectives into feasible solution designs aligned with Sprout.ai’s capabilities and product roadmap.
- Support RFP responses, technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and customer-facing demo environments.
- Solution Design & Planning
- Develop end-to-end technical architectures, integration patterns, and data exchange models for new customer implementations.
- Define and document interface specifications, API requirements, data mappings, and configuration needs.
- Act as the bridge between Sales, Product, and Engineering/Data Science to validate feasibility and identify dependencies early.
- Implementation & Delivery
- Work closely with Engagement Managers and Engineering & Data Science teams during onboarding to ensure smooth execution of the agreed solution design.
- Participate in customer workshops, design reviews, and UAT support sessions as needed.
- Ensure solutions are delivered according to architecture best practice, with a focus on robustness, maintainability, and long-term success.
- Post-go-live, provide architectural oversight for enhancements, change requests, and optimisation opportunities, acting as a technical advisor to key customer stakeholders and internal teams.
Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- A proven track record of success in solution architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting roles within enterprise software businesses.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs (REST/JSON), and data exchange models.
- Experience designing or delivering solutions that utilise LLMs, machine learning, data pipelines, or automation workflows.
- Ability to produce high-quality architecture diagrams, solution proposals, and technical documentation.
- Experience discovering, defining, calculating, and prioritising business value
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong requirement elicitation skills through a variety of techniques.
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams.
