Technical Operator – Production

Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:00

We are now seeking a number of Technical Operators, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

What you’ll do

To work collaboratively within a small team to carry out the piercing and bagging of cheeses, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with prescribed work instructions and quality standards.

• Timely and accurate cleaning of the line and end of day dismantling and cleaning of equipment, tools, and work area where appropriate.

What are we looking for?

• Industrious and able to work under pressure.
• Good level of fitness – able to lift weights of up to 20kg and push/pull weights of up to 1000kg, in accordance with manual handling training.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 6 months).
• Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production and seasonal fluctuations.
• Quality focused.
• Food/process manufacturing background.
• Good standard of spoken and written English.
