Class 2 Driver
Location: Biggeswade, Bedford Competitive Salary / Hourly Rate Full Time | Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well-established parcel distribution business. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable work with a structured workload and consistent routes.
Working on behalf of a leading parcel company, the successful candidate will complete approximately 10 deliveries/collections per day, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
The Role
* Completing Class 2 deliveries and collections
* Approximately 10 drops/stops per shift
* Ensuring deliveries are completed within scheduled times
* Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Loading and unloading vehicle where required
* Maintaining delivery paperwork and electronic records
* Providing professional customer service at all delivery points
* Adhering to all transport legislation and company procedures
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
* Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
* Reliable and professional attitude
* Strong communication and customer service skills
