Type: Temp to Perm – Full Time

Hourly Rate: £12.71

About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred care for individuals with mental health conditions. You’ll help service users build confidence, independence, and resilience while working as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living, emotional wellbeing, and coping strategies
• Mentor colleagues and support team development
• Work with individuals, families, and professionals collaboratively
• Ensure a safe environment and advocate for service users
• Maintain accurate records and support audits

Requirements

• Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full driving licence with business insurance, willing to drive a minibus
• Flexible and able to cover on-call duties

Desirable

• Knowledge of recovery models and support planning
• Experience in crisis management and de-escalation
• Person-centred and compassionate approach
