Admin Assistant – Foetal Anomaly Screening

The post holder will provide clerical and administrative support to the Clinical Chemistry professional team and perform a comprehensive range of clerical and administrative duties that support the Foetal Anomaly Service (FAS) in providing a high‑quality service. You will work closely with the Director and Clinical Lead of the service supporting the needs of the service.

The position will be based at the Clinical Chemistry Department at Birmingham Women’s Hospital.

Main duties of the job

  • Data entry for all FAS samples
  • Preparation of samples for analysis
  • Chasing results from specialist laboratories
  • Support FAS management with financial enquiries
  • Management of spreadsheets
  • Taking minutes of meetings
  • Organisation of meetings
  • Support to the FAS authorising
