Junior Merchandiser

As a Junior Merchandiser, you’ll play a key supporting role in helping our products succeed in a rapidly evolving global market. You’ll collaborate with teams across the business, learn how international supplier partnerships operate, and gain hands‑on experience in forecasting, stock management and commercial decision‑making. What You’ll Do

• Support the Merchandising team in maintaining supplier and shareholder relationships
• Assist with supplier cost price, lead time and payment term discussions
• Help prepare and update stock and sales performance reports, identifying trends and opportunities under guidance
• Monitor pricing across categories to remain competitive while protecting profitability
• Analyse sales trends, inventory levels and production schedules to create purchase orders and maintain inventory within budget
• Forecast demand and manage stock levels to prevent out‑of‑stock occurrences
• Collaborate with departments across the business to support sales, profit and effective stock management
• Provide administrative and analytical support while contributing ideas to improve product performance

What You’ll Bring

• Ideally 1 year’s experience in a merchandising, buying or purchasing role (internship/placement welcomed)
• Interest in developing supplier relationships; exposure to overseas suppliers beneficial
• Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficient in Excel for ordering spreadsheets and stock/sales reporting, confident across Microsoft programs
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data
• Willingness to learn negotiation and commercial decision‑making
• Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively under guidance in a busy environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, highly organised, motivated, with familiarity or interest in WSSI and category planning
