HGV 1 Driver (Class 1)

Responsibilities

• Completing temperature controlled deliveries
• Sealing and unsealing back doors
• Monitoring the refrigeration unit
• Reporting temperature issues to the depot
• Trunking to RDC or NDC, no multi drop
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers
• Supervising unloading / loading (no Manual Handling)
• Maintaining delivery records

Qualifications

• A full UK Drivers Licence with a C+E entitlement.
• A minimum of 12 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK.
• A Digital Tacho Card (Digicard)
• A valid Driver CPC Card
• A strong and coherent understanding of driver’s working hours and working time directive.
• You must not have anymore than 6 points on your licence.

Top rate paid. Immediate Inductions

The Umbrella rate for this postion is £19.88 standard and £26.43 overtime.
