30 hours per week – Term Time Only (39 weeks) £22,324 – £22,641 pro rata per annum
32.5 hours per week – Term Time Only (39 weeks) £24,188 – £25,531 pro rata per annum

Responsibilities
- Support students with their learning in class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Support students’ personal development, wellbeing and independence, helping them to feel safe, successful and prepared for their next steps into adult life.
- Provide support for students within the ARC provision for pupils with more complex needs (where applicable).
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure students’ learning objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Experienced Learning Support Assistants from mainstream or special education settings.
- Graduates considering a career in education, or individuals with transferable skills and experience.
- Relevant experience, training or specialist skills may lead to consideration for a higher salary point.
About the School
Garratt Park School is a special school for young people aged 11–19 with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, including Autism, speech, language and communication needs, sensory impairments, and a small number of students with more complex needs. The school focuses on therapeutic practice, personal development and preparing students for adulthood.
It is situated in the inner London borough of Wandsworth, serving a diverse local community with easy access to central London.
