Working Hours
8.30am – 16.30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and friendly front‑of‑house service to visitors and customers
- Handle enquiries and service requests efficiently via telephone, email, and in person
- Manage bookings for events, ensuring compliance with legal and customer requirements
- Support the management of building operations, including monitoring requests and coordinating repairs
- Maintain accurate records, statistics, and documentation to support service delivery
- Assist with administrative support, including work for the Register Office (e.g. certificates, filing, indexing)
- Process payments using cash and card systems
- Ensure reception and public areas are presentable and welcoming at all times
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work
- Support a safe, secure, and compliant working environment

- Has experience working collaboratively in a team
- Delivers excellent customer service, even in challenging situations
- Can effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills with the public
- Has good administrative and IT skills, with high attention to detail
- Is self‑motivated and able to work on their own initiative
