Senior Digital Product & Experience Designer – Hybrid, Newcastle

They’re looking for a Senior Designer to confidently lead projects, push creative boundaries, and turn bold ideas into reality — across digital platforms, installations, speculative concepts, and hybrid physical/digital experiences.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the creative direction of projects — from concept to final output
- Designing next-generation SaaS platforms, connected ecosystems, AR/VR simulations, and interactive installations
- Collaborating with strategists, product designers, technologists, and clients on complex or ambiguous briefs
- Balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on design craft — from UI and interaction design to motion-rich storytelling
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in fast-paced agency or studio environments
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality UX/UI across multiple sectors and contexts
- Adaptability to switch between industries and project types — from automotive to enterprise tech
- Experience mentoring designers and setting a high bar for craft, storytelling, and systems thinking
- Familiarity with emerging tools and workflows, including AI-assisted processes (bonus if you’ve explored Touch Designer, Webflow, Unity, Framer, or front-end principles)
