Job Overview

Teaching and Learning Assistant (One‑year fixed term, full time) – 31.25 hours per week, 39 weeks a year. Required start: September 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support class teachers in daily classroom activities.
• Lead intervention strategies to support student progress.
• Assist during lunch periods.
• Complete a first‑aid qualification.
• Contribute to the continued success of the school.

Qualifications & Evidence

• Qualifications in English or Maths, or an NVQ Level 3, are desirable.
• Experience working with children.
• Desire to raise achievement.
• Ability and keenness to identify areas for professional development.
• Resourcefulness and flexibility.
