Job Description
We are looking for a Site Operative to join the Frontier team, based at Crimond, on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will carry out day‑to‑day activities of the site, assisting in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations while being part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability and delivers a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist Site Management with all aspects of Grain Storage Operations.
- Assist Site Management to comply with Health, Safety and Quality procedures, including keeping records to ensure compliance.
- Perform work to customer requirements regarding drying, cleaning and storage operations to produce desired levels of quality and service.
- Ensure general housekeeping and hygiene of the site is maintained.
- Ensure stores, plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
- Assist within the grain testing lab / weighbridge.
Qualifications & Skills
- Good communicator, able to consult with all team members and the site management team.
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining Frontier’s ICE values.
- Adapts quickly to changing business and customer needs, providing a responsive customer‑focussed service.
- Can accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business.
- Has a customer‑first mindset and ensures compliance with all internal procedures.
- Can work collaboratively with others and independently without supervision.
- Workshop / mechanical skills (desirable but not essential).
- Loading shovel license (desirable but not essential).
- Tele‑handler / FLT license (desirable but not essential).
- Previous experience in a similar business is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
