Role purpose
- Lead the Transaction Management team responsible for all originators across PIC Capital, excluding ERM, to create synergies and efficiencies in processing and expense management.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations functions to deliver effective onboarding and continued management of assets.
- Apply knowledge and insights concerning PIC Capital transaction management to deliver strong business outcomes for the Company brand and market reputation consistently.

Specific accountabilities assigned to the role of Transaction Management Lead within the PIC Capital function
- Lead and manage the Transaction Management team ensuring all private asset types, both debt and equity, are appropriately resourced with the correct knowledge and skill‑set to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Elevate talent to develop and enhance both technical and non‑technical skills required for a strong and purposeful Transaction Management team.
- Update and coordinate sign‑off and circulation of internal reports detailing the performance of PIC Capital investments; develop an understanding of all investments and drivers for performance to support reporting deliverables.
- Develop a regular cadence of communication, in written and verbal format, on Transaction Management activities, risk levels, and incidents for management information packs to senior management, committee meetings and Executive Committee meetings.
- Positively influence and support effective servicing of the PIC Capital team and wider Investments function through persuasion and influence to successfully deliver in the following areas:
- Deal Execution: set up SPV processes, onboard third‑party suppliers and support originators in tracking due diligence reports.
- Deal Onboarding: book transactions in PIC’s systems, bank account set up, KYC and post‑close checklists.
- Deal Operations: IMA reviews, control testing, board papers, insurance renewal, ownership of third‑party finance partners and delivery of related operational efficiencies, SPV management, support of 3rd‑party managers from an operational perspective and delivery of regular reporting requirements including annual accounts, audit and month‑end valuation process.
- Work with colleagues across departments to drive efficiencies through development of processes and procedures for Deal Execution, Deal Onboarding and Deal Operations; deliver operational system or automated solutions that benefit Transaction Management and PIC Capital as a whole.

Requirements
Knowledge
- Onboarding and KYC processes.
- Detailed understanding of alternative assets, with a focus on Real Estate Investments and Private Debt instruments including transaction documentation, cashflows, risks.
- Technical knowledge of different holding structures for real assets and operational processes governing those structures.
- Established knowledge of accounting and valuation approaches for fixed income and real assets.

Experience
- Experience working within asset management and/or large financial institution is an advantage.
- Recognised qualification and/or strong employment record in transaction management of private asset types (debit and equity).
- Strong demonstrable experience of leading and developing teams.
- Proven and successful track record of managing outsourced service providers.
- Experience designing and implementing process and process mapping.
- Demonstrable experience delivering process improvements through automation or system enhancements.
