Procurement Specialist – HR & Professional Services
Flexible UK Location | London, Manchester or Suffolk (2-4 days per month onsite)

Up to £60,000 base salary + up to 20% bonus
An excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Procurement Specialist to join a leading organisation operating within the renewable energy industry.
This role will focus on HR and Professional Services categories, supporting strategic sourcing activity across a complex international business. You will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver value driven procurement solutions, manage supplier relationships, and support wider procurement transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end sourcing and tendering activity across HR and Professional Services categories
- Develop and implement commercial sourcing strategies that maximise value while ensuring appropriate governance and risk management
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance activities
- Deliver cost savings and wider commercial benefits aligned to business objectives
- Ensure procurement processes and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) procedures are effectively followed
- Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to support budgeting, spend management, and forecasting
- Support sustainability and responsible sourcing objectives within the supply chain
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across multiple business areas
Experience Required
- Strong procurement experience across HR and or Professional Services is required.
- Background within renewable energy, engineering, manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, or similar industries preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders to drive procurement best practice and value creation
- MCIPS, Project Management qualification, or working towards professional accreditation preferred
