Production Technician

Location: Newmarket (CB8)

Duration: Temporary – 6 months initially with potential to become permanent

Hours: 8:30 am until 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £13.75 per hour increasing to £14.25 after 3 months

Polytec are looking for a Production Technician for our Newmarket based client.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of antenna kits, following documentation, ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
• Operate Test and Measurement equipment
• Ensure all relevant paperwork for each job is completed

Requirements

• Previous experience of light mechanical assembly work
• Electronics background or microwave experience preferable
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs
• Good soldering skills would be an advantage
