About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our Smart Monitoring team in London. Working alongside Project Managers and Operations Managers, you’ll support the delivery of structural and environmental monitoring projects across a wide range of sectors.
This would be a great opportunity for someone with monitoring or surveying experience who is looking to broaden their project delivery skills and develop a career within Project Management.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing technical data reports by analysing monitoring data using MS Excel and specialist software.
- Producing project documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, programmes and work schedules.
- Supporting the delivery of multiple monitoring projects from planning through to completion.
- Coordinating project documentation, reporting and commercial information.
- Liaising with clients and third parties to coordinate site access and project activities.
- Attending client meetings and site visits to assess monitoring installations and support project delivery.
- Assisting with technical proposals, bid submissions and design documentation.
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers and operational teams to deliver high-quality monitoring solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying or a related discipline, or relevant post-graduate industry experience.
- Experience with structural, geotechnical or environmental monitoring, including automated monitoring systems and/or manual surveying instrumentation.
- Experience preparing technical reports and project documentation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence analysing technical data.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and a desire to develop within project delivery.
- CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain) and willingness to attend site visits when required.
- Ambition to develop your career towards Project Management.
