Middlesbrough Council is recruiting aSupport Worker to join its Prevention, Provider & Support services team at the Orchard Day Service. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide direct care and support to adults with complex health needs and profound multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).

Role Overview

You will deliver person-centred support to adults with complex needs, working closely with Senior Support Workers and allied professionals. This role requires creativity, resilience, and a commitment to meaningful, fulfilled service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of Individual Personal Plans (IPPs)
• Support therapeutic groups and activities
• Promote partnership working with TEWV partners and allied professionals
• Identify risks and take proactive steps to resolve them
• Work collaboratively within a fully integrated team
• Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety responsibilities
