Hybrid – Graduate Sales Development Representative – Stocks/Trading/Forex

Opportunity

Our client offers an exciting role within the sales department of a commercial investment and trading business that operates across the trading industry, with a sister company based in London. The position is hybrid: after an initial two‑week training period in the office, you will work from the office Monday‑Wednesday and from home Thursday‑Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Place 200+ outbound calls daily to initiate the sales process
  • Contact and pre‑qualify potential new customers while building and maintaining relationships
  • Generate interest in a range of products
  • Set appointments and follow up with leads, using CRM software to manage leads and sales activities
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competition, and industry changes
  • Assist with lead regeneration within Account Executive pipelines
  • Work toward daily and monthly targets/KPIs to achieve individual and departmental goals

Person Specification

  • Degree educated
  • Placement year or prior sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a polished telephone manner
  • Problem‑solving and organisational/time‑management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Good understanding of technology
  • Ambitious and self‑motivated, with a desire to develop in sales
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Familiarity with investment businesses is beneficial but not essential
  • Full driving licence is beneficial but not essential

Hours of Work

9:00 am – 6:00 pm, with a one‑hour lunch break. Hybrid schedule: after the initial training, Monday‑Wednesday in the office and Thursday‑Friday from home.

Salary

First‑year OTE 36‑40k. Includes a basic salary of £25,500–27,000.
