Oakley School is a growing all-through school on the edge of South Leamington, Warwickshire. We welcomed our first Year 7 cohort in September 2023 and our first Reception cohort in September 2024 and will continue to expand year on year as we develop towards a full Year 11 provision.

Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs and/or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). In this role, you will work closely with the teacher, SENDCo, other TAs, external professionals and families, to ensure each child receives tailored support that helps them build the foundations for lifelong learning, as well as enhancing their educational experience, social development and confidence.
- Support pupils’s learning, wellbeing and personal development across the school.
- Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs.
- Assist with day-to-day classroom activities.
- Promote a calm, respectful classroom environment that reflects our school values.
- Support the inclusion and achievement of pupils with SEND and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Contribute to Oakley School’s nurturing ethos, helping children develop confidence, resilience and positive relationships alongside strong academic progress.
