Enterprise Car Club is currently recruiting for a Fleet Technician to join the team, covering East London.

Enterprise Car Club, the UK’s largest car club network, is looking for a proactive and hands‑on Fleet Technician to help keep our vehicles in top condition for our growing membership. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, field‑based role where no two days are the same.

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet runs smoothly, supporting members across the East London area. If you’re a problem‑solver with a keen eye for detail and enjoy working independently, this could be the perfect role for you.

We now operate in over 220 cities, towns across England, Scotland and Wales, and the club now has over 100,000 members using the service.

Our cars and vans are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be reserved by the hour or day. The cars are conveniently located in designated parking bays near our customers’ live and work locations and can be reserved online or by phone in advance, or at the last minute. We take care of insurance, tax, servicing, parking permit costs and even cleaning, so all our customers need to worry about is enjoying their journeys.

This varied role will involve undertaking a variety of tasks to keep our fleet of Car Club vehicles running smoothly – clean, safe, and trouble‑free for our members.

This is a field based position working within the East London area.

Hours

  • 45 per week – shift rota – 4 weekday shifts plus one day at the weekend

Salary

  • £12.71 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Attend vehicles at their roadside locations to troubleshoot problems
  • Valet vehicles inside and out
  • Conduct routine safety checks on fleet of vehicles
  • Deliver and collect vehicles
  • Maintenance including small fixings
  • Liaise and coordinate with other employees who are responsible for onsite Car Club vehicles at our other corporate sites

Qualifications

  • Must have a full, clean, valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently without direct daily supervision
  • Proven problem solver
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and Enterprise Car Club members
  • Previous vehicle maintenance experience an advantage but not essential
