Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Finance Assistant to join our Student Billings Team. Our busy team ensures all University invoicing is accurately processed. The team handles a high volume of enquiries from our students and staff and we are looking for someone with the customer service skills and financial knowledge to support these enquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Process and adjust tuition invoices for students, sponsors and commercial customers
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to students and staff
  • Provide a high level of customer service when dealing with staff and students
  • Reconcile a range of financial data

Requirements

  • Worked within a customer service role dealing with customer enquiries
  • Experience of working in a busy financial environment
  • The ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Skills in the use of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Oracle or similar finance systems
  • An understanding of the higher education sector and government funding regulations
