Role Overview
As an Access Control Officer, you will undertake a crucial role for the business by ensuring consistent service delivery at the Site’s Access Control hub. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and clients, granting appropriate access levels and following escalation processes when necessary. You will work 24 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday, from 05:00 to 17:00.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role and organisation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Valid SIA front‑line licence – essential
- Knowledge of access control software – preferably C‑Cure 9000
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft software packages (e.g. Excel)
- Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
Responsibilities
- Provide access to site visitors, clients and contractors using C‑Cure 900 and VM Easy
- Follow operational instructions, e.g. alarm responses, building access, production
- Report/escalate issues to Corps Security and on‑site management
- Produce clear, logical and well‑written operational reports within required timeframes
- Be fully conversant with site systems and procedures
- Support Corps Security and site management teams in identifying and implementing service improvements
- Ensure information about changes in building occupants, set‑ups and productions is transmitted correctly upwards and downwards
- Maintain safety and security through operation of integrated security systems
- Liaise with external authorities, including the police
- Provide immediate response to all incidents, including medical, fire, and crisis situations
- Perform other administrative duties as deemed necessary or commensurate with the position
