We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants across Northumberland to join our team of educators.

Person Specification

• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum 2 references
• Enhanced DBS clearance

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification – Degree
• Experience working in a primary school

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
• Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in academic and social activities
• Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
• Implement the daily routine
• When directed, plan and implement age‑appropriate activities, in conjunction with other staff
• Assist children in personal/intimate care
• Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher
• Liaise with parents/carers of children, only when directed by a school’s class teacher
• Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring children are supervised at all times
• Ensure provision of a high‑quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
