Contract Architectural Metalwork Installer / Lead Installer
Experienced Architectural Metalwork Installer required for a 3‑month contract across Kent. Install balconies, balustrades and metalwork on live sites while leading labour on site. £20–£25 per hour. Subcontract or PAYE fixed‑term options available.

The role
You will be installing high‑quality architectural metalwork across multiple live construction sites while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Installation of balconies
- Internal and external stair balustrades
- Architectural metalwork
- Some structural steel elements
- Travelling between multiple sitesLeading and coordinating labourers where required
- Ensuring work meets client and company quality expectations
- Working in line with site health and safety requirements
Essential requirements
- Valid CSCS Skilled Worker (Blue) Card
- Qualification in Architectural Metalwork or Structural Steel
- Proven experience installing architectural metalwork
- Ability to lead and guide other workers on site
- Strong understanding of health and safety
- Flexibility to travel across Kent and nearby areas
Desirable
- IPAF ticket
- PASMA ticket
- Broader exposure to structural steel work
