Position: Workshop Plant Engineer

You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team focused on safety, quality and keeping plant running efficiently.OverviewService, repair and maintain heavy plant, machinery and small toolsCarry out planned and reactive maintenanceDiagnose faults, source parts and complete effective repairsWork independently or within a teamComplete all maintenance paperwork accuratelyFollow all health & safety procedures and challenge unsafe practicesSupport general workshop tasks and maintain a clean work areaRequirementsEssentialHeavy plant experience (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic)Diagnostic skills (fault finding & repair)Mig welding/fabrication abilityStrong communication & teamworkSelf-motivated with good attention to detailAble to work under pressureFull UK driving licenceDesirableCSCS CardCity & Guilds (Levels 1-3)Experience with cranes or white-lining equipmentSalary & Benefits£24.40 per hour
