My client is searching for a Senior Technologist to take ownership of specifications, champion food safety, and guide products from concept to launch.

Southall | Monday-Friday | Office-based | £37,000 – £42,000 DOE

The Opportunity

This is more than a technical role – you’ll be at the heart of product development, compliance, and innovation, ensuring every product meets the highest standards.

What You’ll Own

• Lead product launches and manage the full specification lifecycle
• Act as a Food Safety Champion, ensuring products are safe, legal, and high quality
• Keep specs, labels, and systems accurate and compliant
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior team members
• Stay ahead of food legislation and regulatory changes

What You Bring

• Degree in Food Science / Technology (or similar)
• 5+ years’ experience in specifications within food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of labelling, allergens, nutrition & compliance
• Excellent organisation, communication, and data accuracy skills
• Experience with spec systems and retailer standards is a plus
