About the Role
Our Sales Team is the engine of our business, the driver for growth and the role of Sales Development Representative is key to our continued success.
Working closely with our Sales Executives you will research, identify and engage new prospects. Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to better understand their needs and our product fit.
Where there is a good fit, you will book the meetings for the Sales Executives to close, ensuring all relevant information is shared.
Key Responsibilities
- Find companies and contacts that match our buyer profiles
- Research these companies and contacts so we engage with a cleverly curated message that cuts through and catches attention
- Use the phone, email and social media to nurture interest whilst always qualifying if we are a good fit
- Work with the marketing team to strike the right balance between automation and personalisation
- Book well-qualified discovery calls for the Sales Executives to deliver
Location
Office-based, Newcastle/Gateshead Quays HQ
Hours
40 hours per week, flexible start (08:00-10:00) and end times (16:30–18:30)
About You
We’re looking for great characters with the right attitude and aptitude. Here are a few of the things we look for:
- Minimum 2 years experience in B2B telesales, or lead generation ideally within SaaS
- Consistent record of hitting new business KPIs
- Understanding of and success in deploying a variety of outbound sales tactics across multiple channels (phone, email and social) to effectively engage with relevant prospects
- Strong team player who will work closely with your colleagues
- Confident and tenacious with the motivation to exceed expectations
- Curious – you are always asking the right questions of prospects, colleagues and yourself
- Friendly, enthusiastic, confident and comfortable with talking to stakeholders of all levels on the phone, email or face-to-face
- Knowledge of, or interest in, Accessibility, Diversity, Inclusion and the Digital World
