Class 1 Driver – Nights

Job Description

Class 1 HGV Night Driver – Pertemps are recruiting for our client based at East Midlands Gateway. Working for the client offers long‑term ongoing work with opportunities to go permanent.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours

Monday to Friday. Night shift start windows are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Trunking between company sites and RDCs/NDCs around the UK using both box trailers and curtain siders.
• Follow safe systems of work and company policy.

Key Requirements

• Hold a valid Class 1 licence for a minimum of 6 months.
• Have a valid tacho and DQC card.
• Have a positive can‑do attitude.

Pay & Benefits

Nights – £18.75 per hour. Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily – £28.12 per hour.
