Pay Rate: Earn up to £41,318.45 – including a strong base salary of £36,565 plus a 13% shift premiumGrade: NContract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)Shift patterns: Nights Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6amLocation: Will be based at Daventry from July

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Take leadership responsibility for managing a safe and efficient transport environment.
- To maximise the performance of drivers and supervisors by directing the nightly, weekly and monthly activities.
- Analysing and understanding health and safety related risks for our colleagues, take action to reduce or eliminate these risks according to a prioritized plan
- Implement actions as directed to reduce or eliminate health and safety related risks
- Leverage Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program as a daily way to confirm behaviors and processes
- Report and investigate incidents within the workplace and respond to or escalates issues of non‑compliance to safety regulations and procedures
- Implement and supervise the adherence of up‑to‑date processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures and associated forms to achieve prescribed outputs
- Continuously contribute to the improvement of procedures to better achieve the prescribed outputs
- Liaise with suppliers based on business requirements, monitor performance and where necessary, propose improvements to line manager and implement agreed improvement actions
- Participate in customer, regulatory and internal operational audits as required and work with the team to implement the agreed action plan
- Conduct regular reviews on operational performance and delivery against the agreed KPIs
- Escalate any areas of non‑compliance or failure to line manager and where applicable escalates to the senior team
- Management of Subcontractor and help implement agreed processes to review performance,
- Leads regular operational performance reviews with colleagues with focus on H&S and Legal Compliance, overall efficiency of the operation in line with targets and performance via Performance Dialogs
