We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, engaging and committed Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking, friendly staff at Middleton on the Wolds primary school.
The role will involve working one-to-one with a named child. The right person will be kind, supportive and experienced, whilst also being firm but fair enabling the child to flourish and meet their full potential. You must have a sense of fun and thrive on working as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience to draw on and be able to enhance and contribute to the wider life of this growing school.
On occasion, the successful candidate will be required to provide one-to one support for individual pupils and work in a class or support a small group of pupils of varying abilities in any curriculum area. There will be a requirement to give support each lunchtime.
The position is fixed term and is required to start as soon as possible. Hours are 31.25 hours per week, 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 15-minute tea break and a 30-minute lunch break.
You must be willing to contribute to, and work within, our Federation with Beswick & Watton and Bishop Wilton primary schools. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful setting with wonderful children; one not to be missed!

In this role you are required to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform your duties, as required by Section 42 of the Immigration Act 2016.
