Production Operative (FO/CR/05/2026) Cullybackey, Northern Ireland

Salary: £12.91 per hour + overtime.

Location: Cullybackey. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm.

About the Role

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives to support a busy pork production operation. This role involves hands‑on duties within a regulated food production environment, working in line with animal welfare standards, hygiene procedures, statutory guidelines and health and safety requirements.

This role is suited to candidates who are reliable, flexible and comfortable working in a fast‑paced meat production setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out skilled, semi‑skilled and general production duties within a pork processing environment.
  • Support the preparation, processing and handling of pork products in line with company procedures.
  • Work in accordance with animal welfare practices, hygiene standards and statutory guidelines.
  • Follow food safety, quality and hygiene requirements at all times.
  • Use production equipment safely and correctly, including knives where required.
  • Assist with loading lorries for dispatch when required.
  • Follow departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Report any issues or concerns to your supervisor.
  • Comply with all health and safety, hygiene and PPE requirements.
  • Carry out any other duties within the scope of the role as directed by management.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Show flexibility and willingness to support different tasks as required.
  • Work as part of a team in a busy production environment.
  • Understand safety, legality and quality standards within pork production, or willingness to learn.
  • Follow instructions, procedures and hygiene requirements carefully.
  • Be comfortable working in a meat production and pork processing environment.

The successful candidate will be dependable, focused and comfortable working in a food production environment. You will understand the importance of hygiene, safety, quality and animal welfare standards, and be able to follow clear processes while maintaining high standards.
