Overview
Our client has a permanent vacancy for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy private client team. The team offer a wide range of private client services including wills and trusts, inheritance tax planning, probate, powers of attorney and court of protection. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a small but friendly and busy team.
Responsibilities
- Typing correspondence to clients, other firms of solicitors, accountants etc
- Typing and completing complete legal documents including Wills, Trusts, Trusts, Powers of Attorney etc
- Keeping an up-to-date diary for the Solicitors and fee-earners. Making appointments and organising and arranging meetings
- Answer the telephone, taking messages and dealing with queries.
- Deal with the post – incoming and outgoing
- Setting up new files, closing and archiving files and sending for storage
- Dealing with accounts – typing client’s bills, completing timesheets, organising the raising of payments and expenses
- Undertaking other admin duties including photocopying, filing etc
Skills / Experience
- Excellent typing skills
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- Preferred Experience Of Working Within a Legal Environment
