Role and Responsibilities
Act as a strategic powerhouse within our Communications team, owning project delivery, driving commercial success of the service line and leading the professional growth of our consultants. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end‑to‑end delivery of integrated sustainability communications for clients, from senior leadership messaging workshops to production of Impact Reports and multichannel creative content.
- Driving commercial growth by independently winning new business and expanding work with clients, taking ownership of results.
- Supporting a high‑performance communications team, upskilling members and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Leading service development and process improvement within the communications service line to ensure high quality, impact‑focused work.
- Helping clients navigate the complex landscape of sustainability communications, ensuring narratives are ambitious, evidence‑based and transparent.
- Growing brand recognition of Seismic’s communications work through thought leadership and profile building.
Qualifications and Attributes
We are looking for someone who:
- Has extensive experience in sustainability communications within an agency or high‑growth corporate environment and a track record of leading complex projects.
- Has proven ability to manage and mentor teams, driving professional growth and high‑quality project outcomes.
- Is passionate about impact and has commercial drive, with natural ability to identify and develop solutions to client challenges.
- Is a master copywriter who can distill complex information into engaging content and can project‑manage the design process.
- Has experience helping organisations deliver communications across sustainability topics such as B Corp, Net Zero or DEI, and is familiar with ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI.
- Values client work and collaboration, enjoys a positive, people‑focused culture, and is proactive with a keen eye for detail.
- Thrives in a fast‑growing, purpose‑driven business and is excited by the opportunities of working for a young, evolving company.
First 100 Days
- Be paired with a dedicated guide and mentor to accelerate integration and development.
- Complete onboarding training across all sustainability services.
- Participate in fortnightly personal growth sessions and Friday check‑outs.
Location
Ideally within commuting distance of the London office (Waterloo) with attendance at least twice a week.
Working Hours
Flexible working hours are supported, with office hours as needed. Part‑time arrangements can be discussed.
