Gardener Driver – Grounds Maintenance

About the Role

• To assist in the delivery of high‑quality Amenity Horticultural operations within the London Borough of Barnet and to ensure that the service delivery meets the Council’s policies and service specifications.
• The Gardener / Driver will work as a member of a team in the borough’s parks and open spaces.
• To drive and be responsible for the operation and safe use of service vehicles or any ancillary equipment associated with the provision of the Greenspaces service.

About You

• Current and valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Borough knowledge – an excellent knowledge of the borough of Barnet
• Health and Safety – an understanding of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
• Physical fitness – must be physically fit to undertake the duties laid down in the Role Profile
