DeepOcean is looking for System / Survey Technicians to support our offshore and project operations.
In this role, you will primarily work alongside with surveyors, ROV teams and offshore crew to ensure stable operation of survey systems and onboard IT infrastructure.
From time to time, you will also interface with our Remote Operations Centre (ROC) when required.
You will be part of a high‑performing offshore team and contribute directly to safe and efficient offshore operations.
What the role involves
You will support daily offshore operations by maintaining and monitoring technical systems onboard vessels and ROVs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and maintaining survey systems and IT systems
- Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems, sensors, and networks
- Ensuring data integrity through backups and system checks
- Providing technical support to offshore operations and projects
- Collaborating with offshore teams and liaising with ROC personnel when needed
- Contributing to documentation and technical reporting
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a technical background or strong interest in technology, who enjoys solving problems and working in an operational environment.
You ideally bring:
- Education or experience within IT, electronics, or survey
- Interest in systems, integration, and technical troubleshooting
- Offshore experience as an advantage, but not a requirement
- Confidence communicating in English
- A structured, calm, and collaborative approach to work
