Overview
Start: Immediate • Duration: Long term • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 • Location: SK12.
Due to the location, candidates should ideally have access to their own transport. Lift arrangements may be possible from Disley village.
Responsibilities
You will support KS1/KS2 students in a specialist educational setting, primarily focusing on emotional regulation and academic support. The role involves building positive relationships with students, maintaining clear and firm boundaries, and ensuring a safe, secure, and understood environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a KS2 setting
- Strong understanding of SEN needs, particularly SEMH/trauma-informed approaches
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a way the pupil can understand
- Patient, resilient and able to adapt to the individual needs of the pupil
- DBS on the Update Service
