Job Summary

Temporary until 26th August 2027.

This post is based within our Education Directorate. You will be responsible for the delivery of effective teaching services to children and young people attending Auchenharvie Academy. The start date is August 2026. Current Probationers can apply subject to achieving the standard for full GTCS registration.

PVG (Children)

This role is Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Applicants barred from working with children are prohibited from applying.

Preferred candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment confirmation. Successful candidates will be expected to cover the cost of the check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted from salary after commencement. If successful, your name and email address will be entered into the Disclosure Scotland PVG system to generate your PVG form, which will be issued via email with a link to complete.
