Overview

MCS Contract Services Ltd, a professional cleaning and facilities management company, is seeking an experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role supports a newly awarded contract. Candidates should be confident, reliable, and able to work independently from day one. Please note: This is not a trainee position. Previous professional cleaning experience is essential.

Job Details

• Pay: £14.00 per hour
• Hours: 16–20 hours per week
• Days: To be arranged
• Pay Frequency: Monthly (direct bank transfer)
• Employment Type: PAYE (not self-employed)

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Proven cleaning experience (commercial/residential)
• Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
• Good timekeeping and reliability

Compliance & Checks

• References required
• DBS check will be carried out
• Must be legally entitled to work in the UK

• Two forms of ID
• Proof of address (e.g. current utility bill)
• Share code (if applicable)
