Overview

Temporary on‑site role for Dental Nurses based in London and surrounding areas. The role involves assisting dentists, hygienists and other dental professionals during procedures, maintaining infection control standards, performing decontamination processes, and providing patient care.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Assist dentists, hygienists, and other dental professionals during procedures.
• Maintain infection control – cross‑infection control management.
• Perform decontamination, sterilisation of instruments and equipment.
• Provide chair‑side and patient assistance, charting, and assistance with general dental procedures.
• Use dental software and be computer literate.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

• GDC registration – essential.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a dental nurse.
• Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
• Excellent cross‑infection control management.
• Proficient in using dental software; computer literate.
• Excellent communication – verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Compliance checks: DBS, Immunisation record, Hepatitis B immunisation, Indemnity insurance, GDC certificate, Basic Life Support & Medical Emergencies certificate, Safeguarding Level 2 certificate, ID (passport), right to work in UK & references.

Job Type

Full‑time/Part‑time, temporary.

Salary

Monday–Friday: £15.50–£16.50 per hour plus holiday pay.

Weekend: £16–£17 per hour plus holiday pay.
