About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Team Assistant to support our Customer team and Chief Customer Officer (CCO). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in a fast‑paced media environment, gaining hands‑on experience working closely with senior leadership and a dynamic, collaborative team.

You’ll be the engine behind the team’s day‑to‑day operations – keeping things running smoothly, anticipating needs, and ensuring the CCO and Customer team can focus on what matters most.

Main Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide comprehensive diary and calendar management for the Chief Customer Officer, including scheduling meetings and appointments with various time zones
  • Book overseas travel for CCO and Senior Leadership Team
  • Manage logistics and itineraries for all travel
  • Plan ahead and flag any upcoming important meetings in good time
  • Handle expense management and processing for the CCO

Team Operations

  • Coordinate logistics for team meetings, offsites, and events – including room bookings, catering and AV setup
  • Maintain and organise shared team documents, files and resources
  • Support onboarding of new team members, including desk set‑up and induction coordination
  • Assist with ad‑hoc project support and research as required
  • Set up team trackers and initiatives where required

Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams across dmg media on behalf of the Customer team
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, external partners and visitors
  • Manage distribution of internal communications and updates from the Customer team

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proactive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • A genuine interest in media, publishing or the Customer function
  • Previous experience in an admin, PA or office support role (internships or placements welcome)
  • Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools (e.g. Slack)
  • Experience supporting a senior leader or executive
