Overview
We are a leading metal and materials innovator and contract manufacturer, with a large presence in orthopedic implants. The Shipping/Receiving Associate I is responsible for packaging parts according to customer specifications and managing shipping/receiving activities within a medical device environment.
Works in the United Kingdom. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is required.
Responsibilities
- Execute processes to receive, inspect, store, or ship materials, ensuring adherence to established timelines and accuracy standards.
- Support inventory management by performing accurate system transactions, including logging shipments and receipts, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Handle materials in compliance with applicable medical device regulations, quality standards, and internal operating procedures, ensuring traceability and proper documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, quality, and procurement, to align shipping/receiving activities with operational needs and priorities.
- Perform weekly housekeeping per 6S schedule.
- May move parts to and from finished goods.
Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent (required).
- Manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Experience in packaging (preferred).
- Experience with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Quality Systems Regulation (QSR), and ISO standards (preferred).
