Shift pattern- nights, working any 4 from 6 (Sunday to Friday).Location: Rotherham NDC, S66 8PUJob PurposeTo safely and efficiently deliver automotive parts and products to customers, branches, and distribution centres while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate HGV vehicles (Class 1) in accordance with all legal and company requirements.Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and transported safely.Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.Comply with all DVSA, tachograph, and drivers’ hours regulations.Maintain accurate delivery documentation POD (Proof of Delivery) records.Provide professional and courteous service to customers at all delivery points.Adhere to health & safety policies and safe systems of work at all times.Maintain vehicle cleanliness and present a professional company image.Report delays, incidents, or issues promptly to the Transport team.Skills & ExperienceEssentialValid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (2 years minimum)Valid Driver CPC qualificationValid Digital Tachograph CardGood understanding of UK driving laws and compliance standardsStrong time management and organisational skillsGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirablePrevious experience in multi-drop delivery.Experience within the automotive or parts distribution sector.Forklift licence (if applicable to site).Personal AttributesReliable and punctual.Safety-focused and compliant.Professional and courteous.Flexible approach to working hours.Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.What We OfferCompetitive salaryCompany pension schemeEmployee discountsOngoing training and developmentSupportive team environment within a growing logistics networkNot the right fit?
